Project Announcement | Our Lady of Mercy Facilities Improvement Project

AnchorPoint Services is proud to announce our role as Owner’s Representative for the Our Lady of Mercy Facilities Improvement Project in Potomac, Maryland — a transformative initiative designed to meet the long-term needs of the parish and school community, slated to begin this summer. This major capital improvement effort is part of a $15 million campaign to enhance critical space, functionality, and infrastructure across the Our Lady of Mercy campus.

A Vision for the Future

Our Lady of Mercy has a rich history of serving its community through faith, education, and fellowship. As the needs of the parish and school continue to grow, so too must the facilities that support them. This comprehensive project will provide modern, flexible, and welcoming spaces that better serve current needs while preparing for the future.

Project Scope Highlights

• New Parish Center (15,000 SF): A dedicated, modern space to accommodate parish ministries, meetings, and community events — addressing long-standing space limitations.

• Educational Space Expansion (6,000+ SF): Additional classrooms, including a new pre-K space, to support enrollment growth and enhance academic programming.

• Sacristy Addition (200 SF): Expanded liturgical support areas to improve functionality adjacent to the sanctuary.

• Gymnasium Upgrades: Installation of new bleachers, improved accessibility through a reconfigured entrance, and upgraded equipment to support student-athletes and community users.

• New Artificial Turf Field: A durable, year-round athletic field for school sports, parish activities, and community gatherings.

  
  

Our Role

As Owner’s Representative, AnchorPoint Services is providing full project management services throughout every phase — including preconstruction oversight, design coordination, cost management, contractor procurement, and construction administration. We are working closely with Flanagan Architects, Soltesz Engineering, and all project partners to deliver a seamless process and an exceptional result.

This effort represents a meaningful investment in the future of Our Lady of Mercy, and we’re honored to help bring this vision to life. The improvements will ensure that the campus continues to support the vibrant spiritual, educational, and community life that defines this parish.
