AnchorPoint Services has been assisting the Archdiocese of Washington (ADW) as they invest in major HVAC upgrades for several K–8 schools operated by the Consortium of Catholic Academies (CCA). These multi-year improvements strengthen ventilation, comfort, and long-term building performance across multiple campuses.
We’ve been working alongside Kelly HVAC, our design-build contractor for these projects. AnchorPoint has been managing the process across all campuses, providing oversight, coordination, and day-to-day project leadership.
A major component across all three schools has been the installation of new rooftop mechanical equipment, which required extensive structural steel upgrades to support the added loads and ensure long-term stability.
Sacred Heart School – Completed in Summer 2023 The first project in the program, Sacred Heart received a full HVAC modernization with new rooftop equipment, structural steel enhancements, and interior improvements. The upgrades have significantly improved comfort and system reliability.
St. Anthony Catholic School – Completed in Summer 2024 St. Anthony received a complete HVAC replacement, an electrical heavy up to support the new equipment, structural steel upgrades, and interior modifications needed for the installation. The school now benefits from improved performance and efficiency.
St. Francis International School – In Progress St. Francis includes removal of outdated boiler equipment, installation of new systems and controls, an electrical heavy up, and structural steel upgrades for new rooftop units. Work is actively progressing across the campus.

Across all three campuses, ADW's investment focuses on improved ventilation, energy efficiency, and long-term system performance. AnchorPoint is proud to support ADW and the CCA K–8 schools as they continue strengthening the quality and reliability of their learning environments!
